The Landing Party
On the eve of our wedding, we’d love for you to join us for a sunset visit to Dunraven Bay, a stunning seaside spot that holds a little magic (Adam & I visited this Dr. Who-fan-must-see the day we got engaged!). From there, we’ll gather at The Three Golden Cups, a charming cliffside pub where we’ll share pub eats, stories, pints, and a toast to the journey ahead. Transportation will be provided to and from the Vale of Glamorgan area no matter where you're staying.

Wedding Day
While we’re still finalizing the exact timeline for the big day, expect the normal marrying the love of your life festivities. We’ll be sharing more detailed timing closer to the wedding, so thank you for your patience as we pull together the final pieces!
May 19th

Ciao!
There’s no formal gathering planned for the morning after the wedding, just us heading off to our honeymoon as newlyweds (!!!) If you’d like to swing by and wave us off, we’d love to see you! But truly, no pressure, your presence at the wedding is more than enough, and we’re just so grateful you came to celebrate with us.
Travel
Hi there loved ones! We're so happy you're here. We’re excited to celebrate our wedding in the beautiful Welsh countryside, and almost just as excited that you're thinking of coming with ;)
We know attending a transatlantic wedding will require a bit of forethought and planning, so we’ve put together the essentials to help you get there, settle in, and feel at home. While we’re keeping the exact venue a secret for now (a dreamy place right outside Cardiff!), you’ll find everything you need below to start booking flights and nearby hotels. And if you know us, which I know you do, you know we love to travel so if you need help or guidance beyond these basics, consider it a treat for us to assist!
Flights
Nearest Airport: Cardiff International Airport (CWL)
Located approximately 20 minutes from our wedding venue in the Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff Airport is the most convenient arrival point for our celebration.
The Scenic Route: Bristol Airport (BRS)
Located approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from our wedding venue in the Vale of Glamorgan, Bristol Airport offers a charming journey through the English countryside into South Wales. It's a great option for those looking to explore a bit more of the UK en route to the wedding festivities. Transportation options include car rentals and trains (recommended!) to Cardiff, making it a convenient choice for travelers.
For the Adventuring Type: London Heathrow (LHR)
To take the same route the bride and groom embarked on last year, fly into London Heathrow and take the railway to Wales! Situated about 2.5 hours from our wedding venue, London Heathrow is one of the world's busiest airports, offering a wide range of international flights. Ideal for guests planning to extend their trip, explore London, or embark on a UK adventure before heading to Wales.

20 Years in the Making
Adam and Sarah never really should have met, except they did, almost, in the summer of 2005. Adam attended high school at Crooms, a technology magnet school, deemed the high school for nerds (which everyone who went there was totally fine with). Sarah went to Seminole High School which was right down the road, but worlds apart, as she wasn't a can-build-a-computer-from-spare-parts kind of nerd, she was in Thespians (pre-Glee) (read: before it was cool). As fate would have it they had exactly one friend in common. And that friend was hosting a pool party to celebrate the end of Sophmore Year, both Adam and Sarah were in attendance.
Some of you reading this might not remember high school being a time before social media ran our lives, but for us, it was... awesome. Memory is hazy, but us and 20 other kids ran around, swam, drank Mountain Dew, took pictures on our flip phones, ate pizza, played Marco Polo (duh) and ended the night watching Wet Hot American Summer. Quintessential teenage stuff. Andddddddddd Adam and Sarah never even shook hands. Plot twist! Sarah though did (thankfully) exchange Myspace usernames with a few of Adam's friends, as she was intrigued with the kids who wore all black to a pool party. So, the friends in common grew, as did the chances for their next chance meeting to be one where they met.
Ever been to a theme park with someone who doesn't ride rollercoasters? Well, love has a funny way of putting ridiculous things in your path to make sh*t happen. Sarah grew up riding rollercoasters with her mom, a couple of badasses really. Adam, in modern times, claims to have ridden every rollercoaster Vegas has to offer. No wonder these two end up getting married. Right after Junior year began, Adam and Sarah are now roaming around in similar friend groups, still never meeting, and heading to Halloween Horror Nights "Sweet 16". Back then, your HHN ticket included entry to Universal's Islands of Adventure right next door for just a few hours before HHN opened. From Universal's perspective this probably served as a sort of insurance policy of going into HHN happy before being chased by chainsaw wielding clowns all night. Only a few of us agreed to take part in this perk, once again Adam and Sarah are forced into a shared space, will they shake hands?
The wait times for all the rides were crazy, understandably, chainsaws are scary and we also want to ride Spiderman before inciting trauma. All of us attempt to make quick work of going on as many rides as possible. The group soon turns the corner to display the glory that was The Dueling Dragons (RIP), a red and blue pair of coasters that are fast, like to go upside down, and are trapped in a battle that will never end. We miss you, and Harry Potter Land is cool but, they could've just kept a pair of dueling dragon coasters... it's pretty on theme. Sarah exclaims that she's willing to wait the marked 2+hour wait, no one else is, everyone is claiming they don't ride rollercoasters, everyone except...Adam. So, they shook hands. And proceeded to stand in line for 2 hours. Beginning something so big and important, they had no way of knowing. It sounds unrealistic and improbable to say that the two were instant best friends, but, it's true. They had fun waiting in the hot Florida sun, never noticing time slipping, just them, getting to know each other, clicking, clicking, clicking. Two 15 year olds, now two 35 year olds. They emerged close, and that never changed.
It's hard to write a love story that spans 20 years. Sometimes words can do nothing but fail at describing just how deeply we love someone, just how complete a life can become by the addition of one special person. Love may transcend our language, our art, but even when you can’t explain it, you can feel it. We hope to see you at our wedding to witness our love, and to share in that most radiant of all feelings.
THE (wedding) PARTY

Rosie
O'Melia
MAID OF HONOR
Rosie is joy. She has been a guiding light in Sarah's life for as long as they've known each other (a realllllllyyyy long time). Both girls are Type A, and the joke is that's supposed to be a problem, but they absolutely love it. Sarah and Rosie share an obsession with Showtunes (3266!), travelling the world together, and validating each other's unhinged feelings. If there’s ever been a reminder of girlhood, true friendship, and the feeling of being completely relaxed yet fully alive in someone’s presence... Rosie embodies it. She's super. Sarah is lucky to have her to rot with on the couch till the end of their days.

Niko
Bouchard
BEST MAN
Adam and Niko are basically brothers. Meeting in middle school, creating chaos together from the start, their big personalities mesh somehow, and can be found discussing everything from Ready or Not updates to huge life decisions like getting married, for example. Niko is a crazy good friend, emphasis on the crazy. Adam is appreciative of his perspective on life and dependability for the people he loves.

Jared
Batchelder
BEST MAN
Jear Bear! Jared and Adam quickly became friends while washing rich Lake Mary people's cars. No bond like those made in suffering. Jared is simultaneously the most positive person in the room and the most unpredictable. Will he crack a joke? Say something really meaningful? Show you his Walking Dead weapon collection? You never know. He's your favorite person's favorite person, and that's all you really need to know.

BRIDESMAID
Sarah thought Kristin was so very cool when she met her while they both worked at the Sanford Olive Garden over a decade ago in 2010. Kristin thought Sarah was... something. After Sarah melted away Kristin's apprehensions, they were rarely seen apart. Kristin isn't just hella smart, she's steadfast in her support and love for those she deems worthy. A super mom of two sassy, smarty pants, beautiful girls, Sarah is grateful to sit on the sidelines to watch while Kristin demonstrates girl power. Always remembering where Kristin and her came from, a dirty IBAR dance floor drinking $2 PBRs belting hipster jams 5 days a week. The two would do bad things to do this one more time, btw.
Marianaaaaaaaa :) Mariana taught Sarah the joy in receiving voice messages, as well as what it is to become friends in record time. Mariana has this superpower about her, she will make you feel like you two are in on the world's best kept secret, you feel special just knowing her, and Sarah does feel special. Mariana is extremely funny in two languages, a proud Mexicana, true story: her wedding in Merida went till 5AM. Sarah wouldn't know that though, she fell asleep. Mariana is one of the most magnetic people Sarah has ever met, and if you don't get to know her on the dance floor, you're missing out.

Kat
Freeman
BRIDESMAID
Sarah and Kat, the infamous pair, were born of a slight drama (this totally tracks). They were introduced by a mutual friend, but, found in each other a soul sister and sorta left that mutual friend in the dust. Oops. Kat is never ever going to lie to you, for better or for worse, and for this Sarah loves her deeply. She recently got her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, so to say she's a self-aware, empathetic badass is an understatement. Sarah and Kat once before Sarah left on a long trip just went and laid in a large patch of grass after dark next to a major, major road, and yapped. This is the epitome of how they can be anywhere and if they're together, be grateful.

Groomsman
Melissa hasn't met your dog/cat/bird/hamster/iguana, and I'll tell you right now... she loves them more than you. How her heart holds all the unconditional love and care she has for the people in her life, and animals in the entire world (ferrets being her and her husband Matt's favorite), Sarah will never understand. Melissa and Sarah are family first, and Dungeons and Dragons party members second, without her in Sarah's life she's unsure if it would be nearly as rich. Don't ask her to drive though, she'll get sassy. Melissa shares easily, and is always down no matter what. Sarah is certain no time or space will ever lessen their friendship.
